Seitan Hustle, Fleetwood
Posted on

Back in 2025 we were planning a house move up from Cambridge to Blackpool (for family and work reasons) and would spend a few weekends in the later half of the year house-hunting. We would also check out Blackpool and the Fylde coast area for days and evenings out. One evening we decided to try out a vegan eatery in the seaside town of Fleetwood. The place in question was Seitan Hustle, a vegan eatery that specialises in meat-free takeaway meals including kebabs, burgers and fried ‘chicken’.
Seitan, we meet again
As mentioned we first visited Seitan Hustle back in 2025 when we were making regular weekend visits to Blackpool (for house viewings). Since settling in a few months later we’ve ordered from Seitan again on a number of occasions. Having read this you can probably guess that this will be a glowing review, but I should at least give you some context to our overall experience here.
One evening our original plan was to have the food delivered but we were told that all the delivery slots had been taken, however we were welcome to pop over and collect the food ourselves. This was only a 10-minute drive for us so we were happy to do so, and in fact we decided to make a fuller occasion of it by eating in the venue. On more recent occasions we’ve opted to simply collect the food and eat at home.

Popular with many
Setian Hustle isn’t just popular for deliveries – it’s popular full stop. On most of the occasions that we’ve visited the venue itself has been very busy with hungry diners. A lot of the customers who eat at Seitan Hustle are (like myself) NOT vegan but do enjoy the taste of the dishes that are available here. Most of the ‘meats’ used look like the real thing and yet don’t taste too dissimilar to real meats.
Inside what is a small dining area there’s a board showcasing some of the benefits of eating vegan food including environmental and health benefits.

Pick of the ‘meats’
My chosen meal was the Meatless Meat Feast which consisted of vegan grilled steak and doner served with garlic & herb sauce, jerk BBQ, salad and fries. When I first encountered this dish I forget to ask for no sauce. To be fair the sauce wasn’t too bad but suffice to say I learned my lesson and have asked for it without sauce ever since. Anyway the ‘meats’ of the dish are really good that even plenty of non-vegans (including me) will tell you that they taste so good that it would be hard to tell the difference between these and actual meat equivalents. The steak is particularly good with a nice, juicy taste to it, and the doner ‘meat is just as enjoyable.

My wife also opted for the meat feast but with the sauce included. My son chose a Classic Quarter Pounder which he too enjoyed quite a lot.

On previous occasions we’ve tried a couple of other dishes including the Szechuan Mixed Kebab.
Not just ‘meats’, but sweet treats too
Seitan Hustle don’t just serve hot dishes, they also offer a selection of vegan desserts. Among the sweet treats available are a chocolate fudge cake, Bakewell tart, and several different flavoured cheesecakes – all vegan of course. We’ve yet to sample Seitan’s desserts but may well do so on a future visit. I’m tempted to sample both the chocolate fudge cake and the salted caramel cake.
So YES, a glowing review
I did hint that this would a positive write-up, and if you’ve are one of the many people who have also sampled the dishes at Seitan Hustle on more than one occasion then you’ll no doubt share the same positive views on this eatery that I have. The food here is really good and well tasty of vegan meats. Also to add that the staff here are fantastic and really friendly. Quite often we’ve had to wait a long time for our orders (not surprising given the popularity of the place) but in my view the wait is worth it. If you are in the Blackpool and Fylde area and are looking for a vegan alternative to kebabs and burgers then you simply must pay Seitan Hustle a visit, plus it’s very easy to get to (see below).
