One of several independent food outlets at Cambridge’s Grafton Centre, The Duck Truck is a small street food business which (as you might guess here) specialises in tasty duck dishes.

A first visit to Smokeworks
One area in the restaurant sector that has grown in recent years is ‘smokehouse’ restaurants that specialise in slow & low cooked dishes such as smokey meats. One such independent smokehouse restaurant can be found in Cambridge, the aptly-named Smokeworks.

The Stoneworks Bar, Peterborough
Continuing my day trip in Peterborough I checked out another one of the city’s independent outlets. This time I checked out The Stoneworks Bar, a former betting shop now converted into a small craft beer bar and bottle shop.
