SNCF TGV
It’s one of the most well known trains in France, and one that I’ve always wanted to travel on. Then in July 2019 I finally got the opportunity to ride on the TGV bullet train.
Pizza Pino
It was our final night in Lyon before moving on to Nice, and therefore we just had to have a final meal out to mark our time in France’s second city. Of course as this is France naturally we just had to visit an Italian restaurant. Our eatery on this occasion was Pizza Pino.
Au Bonheur des Chats
Located in Lyon’s 7th district is this Japanese-themed cat cafe whose name translates as the ‘Happiness of the Cats’. Now I’m not really a fan of cat cafes myself but being the gentleman that I am I was happy to go along with the missus.
Parc Olympique Lyonnais (Stade de Lyon)
Being a huge football fan I always look forward to the prospect of visiting different football venues, but would never have imagined that I would get the chance to go to a game on foreign soil. However that would change in July 2019 when I got to visit (for starters) the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.
