Little Chester Ale House, Derby
It’s 2013 and I’m about to make my first ever visit to a micropub, and the place in question for my first visit to such an establishment was the Little Chester Ale House in Derby. Fast forward to 2019 and I decide to make another visit to this particular micropub.

The Last Post, Derby
They do say that ‘small is beautiful’, a saying that is most certainly the case when it comes to micropubs. Small is especially true in regards to Derby micropub The Last Post, a former small post office now delivering a different type of service in the form of real ale (plus other drinks).

York Chambers, Long Eaton
Located in the Derbyshire town of Long Eaton is a small grade two listed building known as York Chambers, and in December 2015 the building opened up as the towns first micropub.

Sawley Junction, Long Eaton
Right opposite Long Eaton Railway Station is a small micropub with a subtle railway theme. So next stop – the Sawley Junction.

Town Street Tap, Duffield
As a huge supporter of micropubs I was more than delighted when, in 2016, a new small watering hole would open up in my old home village of Duffield in Derbyshire – naturally I just had to pay a visit to The Town Street Tap.
